The observers — Ajay Maken, Meenakshi Natarajan and Bhajan Lal Jatav — are scheduled to meet members of Parliament, current and former legislators, district presidents and other party officials over the next three days.
The consultations are aimed at gathering feedback on the party’s organizational and political affairs in Punjab before a report is submitted to the Congress high command.
The Congress party which remained in power from 2017 to 2022 is trying hard to win the state assembly elections in Punjab where they feel their position is good.
