Tanvir Singh, 21, who went missing in Nanaimo was found safe on Friday. Singh went missing Thursday following which Nanaimo RCMP issued a statement highlighting his disappearance and appealing locals for help. 

In a statement Friday, Nanaimo police said, "The Nanaimo RCMP is pleased to share that the 21-year-old man who had not been seen or heard from for several days has been located safe and sound."

Tanveer who recently moved to Nanaimo and was scheduled to begin a new job on Tuesday, June 16. He did not report to work as expected. Investigators  determined that this behaviour is out of character for him, and as a result, there is concern for his safety and overall well-being.
