Abbotsford police investigates single-vehicle collision
On June 1, at 12:14 a.m., Abbotsford Police Patrol officers responded to a serious single-vehicle collision on Highway 11 at Townshipline Road.
Emergency crews arrived to find a black Chrysler 300 with significant damage and three occupants suffering from serious injuries. All three were transported to hospital, with one individual airlifted in life-threatening condition.
The investigation remains in its early stages and is being led by AbbyPD’s General Investigative Section, with assistance from the Integrated Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Service (ICARS). Early findings indicate the vehicle was travelling eastbound on Townshipline Road, west of Highway 11, when it failed to negotiate a turn, lost control, struck the center concrete barrier and crossed over Highway 11.
