The opposition on Tuesday submitted the no confidence motion against Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla. The house work could not be progressed as the ruckus were witnessed between the treasury and opposition benches. The house was suspended several times. 

The opposition alleged that the speaker was working under the government's pressure, the opposition demanded that the speaker must be removed.
