The special court of Mumbai charged 27 persons in connection with former Maharashtra cabinet minister Baba Sidiqui murder case Tuesday. The accused were charged under the various sections of Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA). 

The court of special judge Satya Narayan R Navinder charged the accused under section 103 (murder) of the BNS, MCOCA and relevant sections of the Arms Act. 

Baba Sidiqui (66) was shot dead on October 12, 2024 in Bandra area of Mumbai.
