The Russian government on Wednesday said that India is free to buy the oil from wherever the country wants. The statement came after India signed a trade deal with the US. The US President Donald Trump was critical of India’s import of oil from Russia. Following the signing of the deal, India agreed to buy the oil from the USA. The USA also lowered the tariffs from 25 percent to 18 percent on India.
