West Bengal (WB) Chief Minister Mamta Banerjee approached the Supreme Court alleging discrepancies in the Special Intensive Review (SIR) of the voter lists. The state is due for the elections later this year and the ruling Trinamool Congress is in direct fight with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Mamta alleged that the SIR was biased.
