Ajit Pawar’s wife to take oath as Maha DyCM 

Sunetra Ajit Pawar, wife of slain Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar will replace him. Sunetra (62) will take oath on February 1. Ajit Pawar, the President of Nationalist Congress Party (NCP)- Ajit Pawar faction, died in a tragic plane crash. 

The NCP legislature party will meet in Mumbai on Saturday and elect Sunetra as their leader. Ajit Pawar is the nephew of Maharashtra’s former CM and veteran leader Sharad Pawar. He parted ways with his uncle around two-years ago and decided to form his own faction and go with BJP.  He died in a private plane crash on Wednesday.
