Four arrested, drugs and loaded handgun seized in Kimberley police operation
A coordinated early-morning police operation in Kimberley has led to the arrest of four individuals and the seizure of drugs, cash and firearms.
At approximately 5:30 a.m. on June 17, 2026, Kimberley RCMP, with assistance from the Southeast District Emergency Response Team, executed four search warrants under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act at residential properties in the community. Four people were taken into custody without incident during the warrant executions.
During the searches, officers seized two firearms, including a loaded handgun, along with a large sum of cash, drug packaging materials and quantities of suspected fentanyl, cocaine and methamphetamine.
“This enforcement action is part of our continued efforts to disrupt drug trafficking operations in Kimberley and keep our community safe,” said Sgt. Daniel Biggs, Kimberly RCMP Detachment Commander. “The funding we received here from Community Safety and Targeted Enforcement (C-STEP) program made this possible and is helping enhance public safety here is Kimberly.”
The investigation remains ongoing, and Kimberly RCMP are encouraging anyone with information about suspected drug activity to contact them.
