E-scooter driver injured in motor vehicle incident
On June 17, around 8:30 p.m., Prince George RCMP Frontline police officers were notified of a motor vehicle incident on Highway 97 south at Fifteenth Avenue, involving a semi-trailer truck and an e-scooter.
Multiple police officers and first responders attended the scene to assist the injured e-scooter driver, who was transported to the hospital for treatment. The driver of the semi-trailer truck remained at the scene and was fully cooperative with the police investigation. The intersection was closed for approximately one hour as police officers gathered information.
“While criminality is not suspected in this incident, investigators would still like to speak to anyone with dash camera footage or who witnessed the incident and has not yet spoken to a police officer.
