Punjab police arrested a Inspector rank officer after his name cropped up for allegedly kidnapping a man in Tarn Taran district Tuesday. The accused officer Inspector Prabhjeet Singh was produced in the court and remanded to one day police custody.

According to the information, the Majithia Halka In-charge (In charge of the constituency) of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Talvir Gill, levelled allegations of kidnapping a man Gurpal Singh on April 29.
