Punjab police launch probe after blast near BSF headquarter in Jalandhar
Jalandhar city in Punjab Tuesday rocked after an alleged blast had occurred outside the head quarters of Border Security Force (BSF). Police launched a probe.
The blast occurred in a scooty which was parked nearby. The local police said that they were exploring all the angles.
Jalandhar Commissioner of Police, Inspector General of Police (IG) Dhanwant Kaur said that a two-wheeler caught fire and the owner of the vehicle was with the police.
"A scooty caught fire, we are looking into it," Commissioner Kaur added.
