Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke urged opposition parties on Friday to stop contesting elections if they believe the electoral process is rigged.

In a statement posted on social media platform X, Dipke argued that continued participation by opposition groups only serves to legitimize "rigged" polls and creates a false illusion of a fair democratic system. He questioned whether parties were participating solely out of fear of political extinction, warning that taking part in a system marked by alleged vote theft, party splits, and horse-trading is not true political survival. 

Comparing the process to a fixed cricket match where a few catches are taken to make the game look competitive, Dipke accused authorities of offering occasional victories to give the process an appearance of credibility. He also criticized opposition parties for selectively raising allegations of election rigging only when it serves their interests in specific states.
