The BC Lions showed once again why you can never count them out.
In their 45-24 win over Ottawa, the Lions had a slow start and went into halftime tied 17-17. 

It was a competitive first half, with neither team able to gain much separation.
But coming out of the locker room, it was a completely different Lions team.
BC came out firing in the second half, taking control of the game on both sides of the football.
The offence found its rhythm, the defence made big plays, and the Lions pulled away for a convincing 45-24 victory.
And once again, Zander Horvath was at the centre of everything.
Horvath had a monster performance, rushing for 164 yards and four touchdowns. Those four rushing touchdowns tied a BC Lions single-game record, adding another chapter to what has been an incredible season for the running back.
Horvath was named CFL Player of the Week for his performance against Ottawa and was also named the CFL's Player of the Month for August. During August, he recorded 371 rushing yards and eight total touchdowns.
Now he's chasing history. Horvath has put himself within striking distance of the BC Lions' single-season touchdown record, while also chasing the CFL's single-season mark. Every touchdown from here on out makes the record chase more interesting.
The Lions will need that same Horvath led attack tomorrow when they take on the Montreal Alouettes. This will be a much tougher test, and BC can't afford another slow start. Montreal is a team that can make you pay if you don't come out ready, so the Lions will be looking to bring that second- half intensity from Ottawa right from the opening kickoff.
There are also four changes to the Lions lineup. Coming in are No. 11 Woods, No. 21 Kent, No. 59 Yates and No. 99 Tavai. Going out are No. 23 Thomas-Oliver, No. 44 Goforth, No. 57 Schleuger and No. 96 Gusta.
The biggest question tomorrow is whether the Lions can put together a complete four-quarter performance. The second-half explosion against Ottawa was impressive, but against Montreal, BC will want that fire from the very beginning. Zander Horvath is chasing both Lions and CFL history, you know he'll be looking for another big night.
