A significant police presence was observed this week as Kamloops RCMP executed two planned search warrant operations in the 800-block of Surrey Avenue and the 800-block of McQueen Drive. These efforts are part of the ongoing homicide investigation related to an incident that occurred on May 5, 2026.

The Southeast District Emergency Response Team assisted to ensure the safe and efficient execution of the warrants.
