One man has been arrested and charged with multiple Criminal Code offences following a Surrey Police Service (SPS) investigation into alleged sexual exploitation investigation involving a youth.

In mid-May 2026, SPS’s Major Crime Section – Child Protection Team (MCS – CPT) officers commenced an investigation into reports of an adult suspect having allegedly sexually exploited and sexually assaulted a youth.

The investigation has resulted in Criminal Code charges being sworn on May 30, against David Michael Keogh, a 66-year-old-male. Keogh was arrested on May 30, 2026, and has been charged with one count each of Sexual assault, Luring, Invitation to sexual touching, Sexual exploitation, and Sexual interference.

David Keogh has been remanded, and he is scheduled to appear in the court Monday.
