Canada :The U-N Security Council is going to vote later today on an Arab-sponsored resolution calling for an urgent ceasefire in Gaza to allow humanitarian aid to be delivered into the territory.
Diplomats say the text is still being negotiated to try to get the United States to abstain rather than veto the resolution.
The draft resolution also demands the immediate and unconditional release of all of the remaining hostages being held by Hamas.

tactics in its war against Hamas, including the American position that Israel should focus on more-targeted operations
