Chandigarh: A day after she was suspended from the Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee, Preneet Kaur, Patiala MP and wife of former Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh, welcomed the party’s decision.
Preneet Kaur has given a clear reply to the party’s show cause notice on her Twitter. Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee (PPCC) chief Amarinder Singh has suspended Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee (PPCC) chief Amarinder Singh Raja Warring citing anti-party activities.
In the notice, three days have also been given to respond, but Preneet Kaur has made her stand clear on her tweet on Saturday the next day she was given the notice.
She wrote on her Twitter, “Congress is welcome to take whatever decision it wants. I have always given my best to the party and to the people who have repeatedly elected me. I owe it to them and will continue to serve them, as always. I derive my strength from my people. Everything else is secondary.”
