Surrey RCMP is seeking dash camera footage and witnesses to a serious collision which occurred over the weekend near Highway 10 and 124 Street.

On March 27, 2022, at approximately 12:20 a.m., Surrey RCMP received a report that a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle in the 12400-block of Highway 10. The pedestrian sustained serious life threatening injuries and remains in hospital.

Through further investigation, it was determined three different vehicles stopped to render assistance to the occupants of a black Infiniti sedan, stalled on Highway 10 in the left turn lane near 124 Street. Police are looking to speak with witnesses who may have stopped to offer assistance prior to the collision.

Any witnesses or drivers with dash camera footage who traveled eastbound along Highway 10 from Scott Road towards 124 Street, on March 26 (Saturday) from 11:30 p.m. to March 27 (Sunday) 12:30 a.m., are asked to contact the Surrey RCMP at 604-599-0502
