Surrey: B-C’s homicide investigation team says a man who pleaded guilty to the second-degree murder of his wife has been sentenced to life in prison with no chance of parole for 10 years.
I-HIT says Surrey R-C-M-P responded to a December 2022 report of a stabbing and found 40-year-old Harpreet Kaur Gill in medical distress from multiple wounds.
She died in hospital, and about a week later, her husband Navinder Gill was arrested.
He entered a guilty plea on June 22nd last year and was sentenced on Wednesday.
