(British Columbia): Environment Canada says an atmospheric river is set to make landfall on B-C’s southern coast, bringing up to 150-millimetres of
rain to the west part of Vancouver Island.
Forecasters are warning drivers on the Sea to Sky Highway between Squamish and Whistler to watch out because of the increased risk of flooding and landslides.
Metro Vancouver could see between 70 and 100 millimeters of rain.
Winds gusting to 120-kilometres an hour are forecast for the north coast of B-C stretching from northern Vancouver Island to Prince Rupert and Haida Gwaii.
