New Delhi: Indian Olympic Association (IOA) chief PT Usha has strongly criticised the public protests by wrestlers over alleged sexual harassment allegations against Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) chief Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh.

He said that the wrestlers should have stopped agitation till the committee’s report came. Sit-in on the road is indiscipline.

Meanwhile, BJP MP and WFI chief Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh has denied all the allegations made by the wrestlers. He said he would fight hard to prove his innocence.

Women wrestlers are staging a sit-in at Jantar Mantar in Delhi demanding registration of an FIR against Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh.

Wrestlers Vinesh Phogat, Bajrang Punia, Sakshi Malik, Ravi Dahiya and Deepak Punia are staging a sit-in. He has also written a letter to PT Usha to take immediate action on this matter.
