Chandigarh: Mansa police have arrested gangster Sarabjot Singh from Hanumangarh in Rajasthan in connection with the murder of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala.

Police suspect that he had provided a vehicle to gangster Deepak alias Tinu to kill Moosewala. The police will produce him in the court and interrogate him on remand. Sarabjot Singh’s name has come up during Tinu’s interrogation, police said.

Before Moosewala’s murder, Tinu had asked Sarabjot Singh to provide a vehicle. Many more revelations of are likely to be made by him during the interrogation.

Significantly, gangster Deepak Tinu has been taken on remand. Tinu made this big disclosure during the interrogation.

Gangster Tinu was arrested from Ajmer

The Special Cell of Delhi Police had arrested the accused gangster Deepak Tinu from Kekri in Ajmer. The Special Cell had also recovered 5 hand grenades and 2 semi-automatic pistols from Tinu’s possession.

He was in touch with gangster Rohit Godara sitting in Azerbaijan. Lawrence’s special Tinu is an A category gangster. He has also played a role in the Sidhu Moosewala murder case.

Earlier, Tinu’s girlfriend was arrested by the police from Mumbai airport. The girlfriend had revealed that the accused Tinu had around Rs 10 lakh. Tinu had escaped from the custody of Punjab’s Mansa police on the night of October 1-2. In this, the role of Sub-Inspector Pritpal Singh, in-charge of Mansa CIA, came to light, after which he was also arrested.
