Ontario: Of two suspects on the run since a spree of fatal stabbing incidents in Saskatchewan, one of them has been found dead, police said on Monday.
Saskatchewan RCMP said that Damien Sanderson, 31, was found dead with wounds and not believed to be self-inflicted at this point. It was confirmed by Forensic Investigation Section the deceased is wanted Sanderson.
Police said that his body was located outdoors, in a heavily grassed area in proximity to a house being investigated.
Second suspect, brother of deceased Myles Sanderson, 30, is still on run and it is believed that he may be injured and seek medical attention. He may be in a black Nissan Rogue with SK license plate 119 MPI. It’s unknown if he’s travelling with anyone.
Ten people were killed and another 15 injured in a stabbing rampage on Sunday in various locations in the province. These attacks occured in the James Smith Cree Nation and Weldon areas.
The police had released pictures of Damien Sanderson and Miles Sanderson and they both carried out the crime while roaming in a black car.
