Toronto: Peel Regional Police were called to a parking lot fight in Mississauga Monday night that 400 to 500 people were indulged in the fighting, but when the police arrived on the spot, that’s not what they found.

According to the Peel Police Constable Mandeep Khatra, a large number of group were appeared to be celebrating Diwali and they were yelling and screaming. The officers stayed there to avoid any untoward incidents but there were no issues.

Earlier, the police were called to the area at 9:41 pm.

Meanwhile, the Goreway drive was remained temporarily closed in both directions between Etude Drive and Morning Star Drive to facilitate the clearing of vehicles.
