Every Year on November 11, Canadians observe a moment of silence and wear poppies as a mark of honor to the peoples who have served Canada during times of wars.

 But this year, Covid has affected the execution of 2020s remembrance day. For the first time spectators will be discouraged from attending in person because of physical distance and limited space. However, Royal Canadian Legion is still planning to commemorate a smaller event which includes only 100 participants. Legion will offer a Facebook Live coverage of the remembrance day ceremony beginning at 10:45 am EST.

 In Vancouver, University of British Columbia hosting a remembrance day ceremony as a virtual event featuring a live broadcast from war memorial gym starting at 10:45 am.
