CHANDIGARH, October 29 :
The Punjab State Scheduled Castes Commission has taken a suo-moto notice regarding the incident of village Dangarh of Barnala district, in which 4 year old girl was raped.
Ms. Tejinder Kaur, Chairperson of the commission, said that this was a shocking incident and had come to her knowledge through media reports. The commission has sought a detailed report from Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Barnala by November 2nd 2020 and also ordered to take stern action against the culprits in the case promptly.
