Chandigarh: Following the violent protest in Ajnala, the Punjab Police has started taking action against Amritpal Singh, the head of ‘Waris Punjab De’ organization, and his associates.
According to the information, 10 associates of Amritpal have been identified, who are armed with weapons for 24 hours with them. Many weapons are registered on their licenses. The police have issued notices to various district administrations seeking details of the weapons.
After this, direction has been issued to cancel the license if everyone is using weapon as security guard with anyone not for self-defense.
Following the directive, DC Faridkot has cancelled the license of Gurbhej Singh, a resident of village Gondara, Faridkot.
The licenses of these people will be canceled include
