Chandigarh: The Punjab Police on Tuesday claimed to have solved the Ludhiana robbery case in which robbers decamped with over Rs 8 crore on June 9. 

In a tweet, Punjab DGP said the Ludhiana Police with the help of Counter Intelligence have solved the Cash Van Robbery case in less than 60 hours. 

DGP Gaurav Yadav said of the 10 accused involved in the planning, five main accused have been arrested. 

The DGP said major recovery is effected and investigation is being conducted. 

According to information, robbers executed the incident with the help of sharp-edged weapons. After the incident, the police worked to trace cars that were captured in CCTV cameras installed at toll plaza.
