Toronto: A 24-year-old man from Brampton has been charged in connection with an investigation into sexual abuse by Toronto police.
The police officials said that on October 30, a woman made a booking to go somewhere from the ride-sharing app. Police said the woman fell asleep during the journey.
Officials said she was allegedly sexually assaulted during the trip.
Harpreet Brar, 24, was arrested from Brampton on October 30, police said. He has been accused of sexual harassment. Investigators believe there could be more victims, police said.
