New Delhi: The Delhi Commission for Women (DCW) has come into action following reported threats from Khalistan supporters to Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann’s daughter in the US amid a crackdown on Waris Punjab De chief Amritpal Singh and his supporters.

The Women’s Commission has warned the Indian Embassy in the US about the safety of Bhagwant Mann’s daughter Seerat Kaur Mann.

Delhi Commission for Women chairperson Swati Maliwal told the Indian Embassy in the US that arrest proceedings were underway against Amritpal in Punjab. Disgruntled by this, Khalistani supporters are threatening CM Mann’s daughter Seerat in the US by calling her and hurling lewd abuses. She reportedly getting death threats.

DCW chairperson Swati Maliwal tweeted, “This is a very cowardly act by Khalistani supporters. She has appealed to the Indian embassy officials in the US to ensure the safety and security of Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann’s children.”
