London: The 37-year-old Duke of Sussex will not be permitted to wear military uniform for any of the official events at Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral, it has been confirmed.
This came after Prince Harry in a touching tribute referred to his grandmother as his “Commander-in-Chief”.
Sources said that Prince Harry is “saddened” to hear that he won’t be wearing his military uniform at monarch’s funeral at Westminster Abbey as the rest of the men in his family will wear full uniform on September 19.
He was stripped of his military titles by the Royal family when he quit royal life in 2020 and moved with his wife Meghan Markle to California.
