Ottawa: About a week after Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and his wife Sophie Gregoire Trudeau announced they were separating, the pair are vacationing in British Columbia with their three children.
The two had said they still plan to spend time together as a family.
The Prime Minister’s Office said they will be in British Columbia for just over a week and will return to Ottawa on August 18th.
The Trudeaus are paying for their own stay, but will be travelling on a Royal Canadian Air Force plane for security reasons.
The Prime Minister’s Office said the Prime Minister had consulted the ethics commission before going on vacation. — Canadian Press
