Ahmedabad: Voting for the second phase of Gujarat Assembly Elections 2022 is underway. Prime Minister Narendra Modi casts his vote at a polling booth in Ranip area of Ahmedabad. Voters expressed happiness on seeing PM Modi at the booth.
Coming out of the booth, PM Modi also showed the ink mark. After casting his vote, PM Modi went to his elder brother Som Modi’s house, which is near the polling station.
PM Modi left his convoy and reached the polling booth on foot. PM Modi had cast his vote in this school in 2017 and 2019.
Congratulates to the Election Commission and the people of Gujarat
Speaking to the media after voting, the PM congratulated the voters of Gujarat, Himachal and Delhi congratulate and said, “I also congratulate the Election Commission. for brilliantly organising an electoral tradition that enhances the prestige of India’s democracy all over the world.” He also praised the people of Gujarat and said that the people of Gujarat have the nature to accept the truth. Due to this nature, they are also actively participating in this festival of democracy.
PM urges people to vote
“Urging all those who voted in the second phase of Gujarat elections, especially young and women voters, to vote in large numbers,” Modi tweeted in the morning.
