Una: Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Thursday slammed Prime Minister Narendra Modi for criticising AAP for using people’s money on their welfare, the Chief Minister said that Modi’s friends had looted public money from banks and fled abroad.

“PM Modi is attacking AAP over the issue of freebies and where is his papad of depositing Rs 15 lakh that he had promised to the people of the country in the run-up to the 2014 General Election, after which he became the PM,” CM Mann said in a rally at Una while promising second guarantee of Arvind Kejriwal ahead of state assembly elections in Himachal Pradesh.

Bhagwant Mann said that both Congress and BJP have looted people and used their money for vested interests. He also assailed Modi for his failure to control ever escalating inflation.

He lamented that country has lagged behind in health sector. Bhagwant Mann said that in dearth of good medical colleges students aspiring to make career in medical field have to go to countries like Ukraine.

He said that it is ironical that the countries which had attained independence just 25 years ago are far ahead than us who had attained independence 75 years ago. He said that in foreign countries our intelligent students are proving their mettle but they don’t get work according to their calibre here. Bhagwant Mann said that freedom fighters like Shaheed Bhagat Singh had laid their lives for emancipating countries from clutches of foreign imperialism but now our youth in dearth of good opportunities back home are forced to go aboard and work under foreigners.

Striking an emotional chord with people, the Chief Minister said that Una was not a new place for him as he had came here earlier numerous times. He said that the culture and language both Punjab and Himachal have many similarities. Bhagwant Mann said that people of Himachal should also support AAP for transforming their lives.
