Rajbir Singh Ghuman, Officer on Special Duty to Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, faced hours of interrogation on Monday during his fourth appearance before the Central Bureau of Investigation.

The questioning took place at the federal agency's office in Sector 30, Chandigarh. Investigators have summoned Ghuman to return for further interrogation on Oct. 27.

Ghuman and several others face allegations of corruption, influence-peddling, and manipulating government tenders, staff transfers, and official policies for personal benefit.

Following his session with investigators, Ghuman accused the central agency of acting under pressure from political leaders in New Delhi. He claimed investigative bodies originally intended to deliver justice are now being used as political weapons.

The investigation remains ongoing.
