Coquitlam RCMP is hosting a free family-friendly Halloween celebration on October 30, and everyone is welcome to join in the spooky festivities.

Members of the public will have the opportunity to meet RCMP  officers, employees, and volunteers, along with a ghoulish gathering of community partners including Coquitlam Fire/Rescue, BC Emergency Health Services, Metro Vancouver Transit Police, Port Moody Police Department, the City of Coquitlam Bylaw Enforcement Division, Coquitlam Search and Rescue, and more.

Attendees are encouraged to stop by, meet local first responders, ask questions, and explore some of the specialized tools and vehicles used to help keep our communities safe. There will also be plenty of treats, family-friendly activities, and Halloween excitement for all ages.

"Halloween is one of our favourite opportunities to connect with families in the community," said Corporal John Graham, Coquitlam RCMP Media Relations Officer. "We look forward to welcoming little witches, wizards, ghosts, and goblins to BOOchanan Square for an afternoon of fun. From decorated tents and specialty vehicles to candy, swag, and interactive displays, there will be something for everyone to enjoy."

Coquitlam RCMP  has once again partnered with SHARE Society and will be accepting food and cash donations during the event to support local families in need.

The 2026 Halloween celebration will take place rain or shine on Friday, October 30, 2026, from 1:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at Buchanan Square, located between Coquitlam City Hall and the Coquitlam RCMP Main Detachment at 2986 Guildford Way, Coquitlam.
