FINTRAC announced  that it has imposed an administrative monetary penalty on VIP Realty Inc., also operating as Royal LePage Integrity Realty Inc. Following a compliance examination, this real estate brokerage based in Ottawa, Ontario, with locations in Cornwall, Kanata and Orleans, was imposed an administrative monetary penalty of $33,000 on December 1, 2025, for non-compliance with Part 1 of the Proceeds of Crime (Money Laundering) and Terrorist Financing Act (the Act) and associated Regulations.

VIP Realty Inc. was found to have committed the following administrative violation:

Failure to institute and document the prescribed review of its compliance program for the purpose of testing its effectiveness, to be carried out and the results documented every two years by an internal or external auditor of the person or entity.

VIP Realty Inc. has paid the administrative monetary penalty in full and the case is closed.
