Peel police ask public help in identifying shooting suspects

Investigators from 22 Division Criminal Investigative Bureau (CIB) are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying suspects involved in a shooting in Brampton.

On Friday, June 19, at approximately 2:30 p.m., police responded to the reports of shots fired on Chamney Court. Upon arrival, officers confirmed a verbal altercation occurred between several individuals prior to the shooting.

While the incident is believed to be targeted and isolated, residents owners in the area are encouraged to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity to police.

Investigators are asking anyone who may have been in the area to review dashcam or security footage during the relevant timeframe and report any sightings of the incident.
