Canada-Wide Warrant Issued for Suspect in Mississauga Double Homicide
Detectives from the Homicide and Missing Persons Bureau have identified Jordan Sangwin, 46, of Mississauga, and obtained a Canada-wide warrant for his arrest in connection with a recent double homicide.
On Thursday, June 19, at approximately 7:07 p.m., police responded to reports of an assault at a residence near Lakeshore Road East and Hurontario Street. Officers located two elderly victims inside. They were transported to hospital, where they were pronounced dead.
Sangwin is wanted for two counts of First-Degree Murder.
He is described as male, White, medium build with short salt and pepper hair and clean shaven. He was last seen wearing a grey long sleeve shirt, dark shorts and carrying a black duffle bag. He is known to frequent the Lakeshore Road area of Mississauga.
Sangwin should be considered armed and dangerous. Members of the public are advised not to approach and to call 911 immediately if seen.
Investigators are urging Sangwin to seek legal counsel and surrender to police.
