To deepen defence ties, the minister of national defence David J. McGuinty,  will travel to Luxembourg on June 19 to discuss strategic and defence ties between both countries.

During the visit, the Minister will meet with counterparts and senior officials to reinforce Canada's commitment to working closely with Allies to address evolving global security challenges.

Minister McGuinty and Luxembourg’s Minister of Defence, Yuriko Backes will participate in a joint press conference.
