Canada deports man convicted of firing shots at AP Dhillon's home

Canada's Immigration and Refugee Board (IRB) issued deportation orders to Indian national Abhijeet Kingra who was convicted for firing gunshots at the residence of Punjabi singer A P Dhillon in Victoria in 2024.

Kingra allegedly committed crime on the behest of India based Lawrence Bishnoi gang. The media reports stated that Kingra fired 14 rounds at Dhillon's residence and also set some vehicles ablaze.

Dhillon was not present inside his home but his friend had a miraculous escape.
