City of White Rock advises people about drone flights in parks
The City of White Rock is advising residents and visitors that the City’s Parks Master Plan consultant will be conducting licensed drone flights in several parks in White Rock from Tuesday, May 19 to Friday, May 22.
Drone imagery is being collected to support park condition assessments, asset inventory, and long-term planning as part of the Parks Master Plan. All flight paths and operator certifications have been approved and registered, and operations will comply with all Transport Canada and NAV CANADA requirements.
