VPD asks public to help locate missing man

The Vancouver Police Department requests public assistance to locate a 59-year-old man with cognitive impairments including Alzheimer’s disease.

Keith Gurney, an Indigenous man, who has difficulty walking, was last seen at St. Paul’s Hospital yesterday at 8:22 p.m.

Gurney is described as 5’9” tall, weighing 150 lbs., with short grey hair, and a short grey beard.  He was last seen wearing a black baseball hat with white writing on the front, a plaid shirt over a red Canadian soccer jersey underneath with #19 on the chest, black sweat pants, and black shoes.

Anyone who sees  Gurney is asked to call 911 and stay with him until first responders arrive.
