Police investigate serious collision on Highway 97
A pickup truck collided with a tractor trailer on Highway 97.
On June 27, at approximately 1:14 p.m., RCMP received a report of collision on Highway 97 at the intersection of Highway 26. A pickup truck pulling onto Highway 97 from Highway 26 collided with a tractor trailer that was travelling north on Highway 97.
The driver and sole occupant of the pickup truck was taken to hospital with life threatening injuries. The driver of the Semi truck was uninjured.
“Highway 97 was closed while for approximately 3 hours while police conducted their investigation,” says Sgt. Clay Kronebusch.
