City of New Westminister asking public to follow traffic guidlines on Hyack Parade
To accommodate the Hyack Parade on Saturday, May 23, the city of New Westminister is asking the public to follow the road closure updates.
The city said in a statement that from 7 am to 1 pm, Eighth Street at Eighth Ave intersection, plus some nearby side streets will remain close.
The other closures include,
10:00 am - 2:00 pm
- Sixth Street (from New West Secondary, just past Eighth Ave, to Queens Ave)
- Sixth Street at Sixth Ave intersection
- Queens Ave (between Sixth and First St)
- First Street (between Emory and Vancouver St)
