Calgary police investigates fatal shooting

The  Homicide investigators of Calgary police  are releasing CCTV photos of the suspect vehicle that is believed to be involved in the fatal shooting that resulted in the death of a man earlier this week.

At approximately 7:50 p.m., on Monday, May 11, officers responded to reports of shots fired in the parking lot of the North Hill Co-op located at 520 16 Ave. N.E.

Upon police arrival, two men were found suffering from gunshot wounds and transported to hospital. One man was declared deceased and the other remains in hospital in stable condition.

Investigators are releasing CCTV images of the suspect's vehicle which is described as a white SUV with the passenger-side rear window partially broken and taped over.

Our efforts to address gun violence rely on strong community support. Officers are asking anyone who has dash cam footage from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Monday, May 11,  in the area of 504 of 16 Avenue N.E., heading eastbound towards Strathmore, to contact police by calling 403-266-1234.
