Senior Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) leader  Bikram Singh Majithia alleged that he received threats thrice in the past seven days raising a serious question on the law and order situation in the state. 

Majithia said that his condition is like the slain Punjab singer Sidhu Moosewala who was killed after his security cover was reduced by the state government.

Majithia claimed that the senior police officials awaiting his security clearance from Delhi. He also raised questions on the working of Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Bhagwant Mann.
