Kelowna RCMP seek public’s help after distinctive food trailer stolen
Police in Kelowna are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a uniquely marked food trailer that was reported stolen earlier this month.
The Royal Canadian Mounted Police say the trailer was taken from a fenced compound in the 2700 block of Highway 97 North sometime overnight on April 12.
Investigators say the trailer was last seen in the area around midnight, with video surveillance later capturing it being removed from the compound at approximately 4:30 a.m. the same morning.
The stolen unit is described as a 2022 Royal box trailer painted light mint green with British Columbia licence plate 30193L. It bears the name “The Pasta Station TPS” on both sides, along with the slogan “Build it, taste it, share it, build your own pasta” on the rear.
Police say they believe the trailer’s colour and identifying markings may have been altered since the theft.
Investigators also believe a white Dodge Ram full-size pickup truck may have been involved in the incident.
RCMP are asking anyone with information or dashcam footage from the area during the overnight hours in question to contact Kelowna detachment or Crime Stoppers.
