The  Minister of Foreign Affairs,  Anita Anand,  met  Yvette Cooper, Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs, in London, United Kingdom, during a 2-day visit.

The Ministers discussed their deep concern over the evolving conflict in the Middle East, along with its impact on global energy markets and energy security. The Ministers agreed to continue engaging with Allies and partners to support de-escalation and prioritize diplomacy and dialogue to resolve the crisis. The Ministers also exchanged perspectives on Russia’s war of aggression against Ukraine, as well as opportunities to grow trade and investment.
